Summary
Join Veolia Group as a Dispatchable Field Service Representative and provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems. This mission-critical role involves working on various technologies, including media filtration, reverse osmosis, and ion exchange. Key responsibilities include conducting maintenance and calibration, consulting with customers, ensuring contract compliance, and optimizing equipment performance. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems, maintain site paperwork, manage inventory, and perform analytical testing. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Travel within the region is required.
Requirements
- Excellent mechanical know how and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ yearsβ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Valid Driverβs License
- Ability to travel within the region as needed
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
- Consult with customer management and operation teams
- Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
- Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
- Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
- Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
- Review customer plant installations and compare against WTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
- Provide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their system
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
