Summary

This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Technician or relevant EPC experience. Based in Europe, you will prepare reports, discuss equipment needs, analyze project documents, and execute field work according to safety and quality procedures. You will coordinate with various teams and ensure successful ILI runs. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant engineering degree, oil and gas experience, and strong computer skills.

Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 3 years of operation planning experience
  • Have experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
  • Have computer skills in Microsoft Word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level
  • Be fluent in English language
  • Have the ability to travel extensively including international trips
  • Have the ability to work flexible hours based on business and project needs
  • Have the ability to work either independently or within a team to ensure project success
  • Have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
  • Have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively
  • Be able to maintain focus and multitask effectively
  • Be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments
  • Have sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports
  • Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc
  • Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
  • Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations
  • Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with PipeCare QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning
  • Coordinate field activities between PipeCare team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties
  • Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards
  • Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established PipeCare cleaning criteria
  • Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with PipeCare procedures and operational requirement
  • Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role
