Finance & Accounting Associate

Summary

The Accounting Associate position at Sprout Solutions is responsible for bookkeeping and handling Accounts Payable functions.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s / College Degree, Finance/ Accountancy
• Adept in Accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• The Accounting Associate position is responsible for bookkeeping and handling Accounts Payable functions
• Prepares finance and accounting documents in a timely manner
• Process accounts and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
• Handle purchasing process
• Generate reports detailing accounts payable status
• Prepare weekly disbursements to employees and suppliers
• Journalize and post to Xero/NetSuite of daily transactions
• Responsible in managing and documenting of files
• Other tasks as may be assigned

Preferred Qualifications

1 year experience in bookkeeping or Accounts Payables is an advantage but Fresh Graduates are also welcome
