Finance Analyst

Summary

Join World Business Lenders (WBL) as a remote Contract/Consultant in a 100% remote position, focusing on financial reporting and analysis. You will prepare and analyze financial reports, review data for accuracy and compliance, assist in forecasting and budgeting, collaborate with internal departments, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role requires excellent English communication skills, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Professional certifications and experience with SQL, Power BI, and Python are preferred. The position offers compensation based on experience and 11 US paid holidays.

Requirements

• 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
• Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
• Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP)
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies in financial reporting processes
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar
• Experience working with SQL, Power BI, Python
• Experience with Microsoft Teams
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Proactive approach and strong work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail
