Finance Associate

Summary

The job is for a Finance Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience in structured finance transactions to join a law firm in San Francisco. Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in structured finance transactions
• Admission to and a member in good standing of the California Bar
• Resume, cover letter, and law school transcript are required to apply
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and technology

Responsibilities

• Possess knowledge of commercial law matters including the uniform commercial code, securities law, and bankruptcy-related issues
• Draft complex commercial contracts such as pooling and servicing agreements, administration agreements, indentures, and trust agreements
• Ability to draft applicable legal opinions, including bankruptcy opinions
• Manage financial transactions by overseeing the work of junior associates
• Drafting and prepare transaction documents, and successfully close transactions

Benefits

Salary Range: $365,000 to $390,000
