The role involves providing accounting and clerical assistance to the Finance department, preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings, statements, performing basic office tasks, handling communications with other departments and vendors, processing transactions, updating monthly reports, preparing financial reports and payroll computation, assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate should have meticulous work habits, above-average skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, be able to work in a fast-paced multi-national environment, possess verbal and written English skills, professional manner, and a strong ethical code. Requirements

• Reports to Accounting Officers, and Accounting Managers
• Perform ad hoc tasks as needed
• Perform other financial and administrative responsibilities when required

Responsibilities

• Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the Finance department
• Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
• Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and emails, etc
• Handling communications with other departments and vendors via slack, email, etc
• Processing transactions, updating monthly reports
• Preparing financial reports and payroll computation
• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
