Finance Engineer

Summary

Join Kiln's dynamic Finance team in Paris as a Finance Engineer and contribute to the operation of Kiln’s financial systems. You will monitor Proof-of-Stake protocols, integrate data sources, develop financial reports, and automate processes. Collaborate with the Head of Finance, Sales, and Engineering teams. Ensure the reliability of Kiln’s financial data for internal and external stakeholders. Address customer inquiries and provide finance insights to leadership. Requirements

• Proficient in data analytics using SQL and Python
• Solid understanding of financial modeling, KPIs, and reporting with Google Sheets and Excel
• Master's degree in Technology or Finance
• Fluent in English and ideally French

Responsibilities

• Monitor Proof-of-Stake protocols and blockchain networks to identify and analyze financial implications
• Keep updated on market trends and regulatory changes to inform our strategies
• Integrate various data sources, including on-chain information, blockchain aggregators/explorers, and internal services, using APIs
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in Kiln’s databases
• Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports tailored to the needs of Kiln, our partners and customers
• Use data analysis to create custom reports that track Kiln's financial metrics (Revenue, Expenses, AUS, etc.) and provide valuable insights to our customers (Staking activity, Reward statements, etc.)
• Create new internal tools and automated solutions to enhance the efficiency of Kiln’s financial and operational processes, including billing, treasury management, and cryptocurrency transaction reconciliation
• Address customer inquiries related to invoicing and financial data
• Work closely with the leadership team, providing finance insights to aid in risk mitigation and opportunity identification

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated interest; knowledge of protocols, blockchain explorers, and smart contracts is a plus
