Summary

The job is for a 4-6 month Finance & Accounting internship at Funding Societies | Modalku, a digital financing platform in Southeast Asia. The intern will support the Finance & Accounting Department, perform daily office tasks, assist with month end close, tax reporting, and statutory audits, document standard operating procedures, contribute to department and organization special projects, and support ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Accounting principles
• Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
• Microsoft office knowledge, particularly Microsoft Excel, Words, Powerpoint
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Enjoy the fast pace environment
• Available for full time internship for 4 - 6 months

Responsibilities

• Providing support to the Finance & Accounting Department
• Performing daily office tasks, such as data entry and examining financial records
• Assisting with the preparation of month end close, tax reporting, and statutory audit of group entities
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Documenting standard operating procedures and give suggestions for process improvement
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned
• Support ad-hoc projects or duties assigned from time to time

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of local accounting/tax standard preferred
