Summary

Join Omnidian, a fast-growing tech-enabled service company, as a Finance Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting the Finance team. You will contribute to financial analysis, reporting, data management, and strategic projects. Working closely with various teams, you will analyze financial data, assist with forecasting, and contribute to key financial decisions. The internship offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to work remotely or in a vibrant Seattle co-working space. The program is two months long, starting around the beginning of Summer 2025, and involves working on well-defined projects with a final presentation. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and basic financial modeling
  • Knowledge of financial statements and key accounting principles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and dashboards to support business decisions
  • Analyze financial trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights
  • Support monthly financial close processes and reconciliation efforts
  • Review financial enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and financial models for data consistency and support restructuring for increasing meaningful reporting
  • Ensure data accuracy to support ongoing financial operations
  • Assist in financial modeling and budgeting exercises to forecast business performance
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and identify cost-saving opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Moderate experience with excel formulas
  • Exposure to corporate finance, investment analysis, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
  • Familiarity with the solar energy or renewable energy industry
