Requirements

• Successfully completed university degree with a focus on finance/accounting or a comparable qualification
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience with university degree or alternatively 3+ years of relevant working experience in case of a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge of accounting regulations (HGB/IFRS/US-GAAP is a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Proficient user of MS Office, especially MS Excel (Lucanet or Power BI is a plus)
• Full professional working proficiency in English (German/Spanish is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Assist the preparatory accounting process while maintaining relationships across functions as well as external parties (e.g. tax accountants, auditors, etc.)
• Assist in preparation of financial statements (incl. consolidated group accounts) as well as the annual budget, quarterly planning and investor reporting
• Assist the financial steering of the company (incl. budgets) and its liquidity management
• Prepare routine reports and summaries for the management team
• Track and communicate various relevant business KPIs
• Assist fundraising initiatives as well as other strategic projects (e.g. M&A)
