The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field, 3-5 years of experience in finance or strategic finance, and advanced financial modeling skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field
- Experience: 3-5 years in finance or strategic finance, with a focus on GTM, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth tech company
- Advanced Financial Modeling Skills: Proven expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and managing large datasets
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Able to articulate financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders and present recommendations to executive audiences
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success, to achieve shared goals
- Adaptability and Initiative: Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
- Experience with Tools we Use: Google Sheets / Excel, Salesforce, Looker, Netsuite, Cube, and more
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for the GTM team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets
- Collaborate with GTM leaders to drive financial strategy, analyze ROI on marketing and sales initiatives, and optimize allocation of resources across channels and campaigns
- Use financial models to assess and drive strategic investment decisions across marketing, sales, carrier partnerships, and customer retention programs
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives such as product launch assessments, carrier integrations, campaign evaluations, and efficiency tracking to support GTM objectives
- Fine tune, monitor, influence, and present KPIs like CAC, LTV, and payback periods. Provide actionable insights on financial and operational performance to senior leadership
- Partner with sales and product teams to develop and refine pricing strategies, analyze sales performance, and optimize customer acquisition costs
- Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports, including revenue, operational KPIs, and variance analysis for GTM teams, and present findings to senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance accuracy, and improve forecasting and reporting scalability
Preferred Qualifications
- An MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred
- Investment banking experience is a plus
- Familiarity with tools like Looker, and financial planning software is a plus
