Finance Operations Analyst

Summary

Join Capco, a management consulting and software development firm, and become a Senior Commercial Operations & Finance Analyst. This role involves supporting client accounts throughout the sales lifecycle, from pre-deal to post-deal support and revenue recognition. You will work closely with finance and accounting teams on month-end activities, initially focusing on understanding existing tools and processes. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Support a Portfolio of Client Accounts through the Sales Lifecycle (pre-deal support, post-deal support and revenue recognition)
• Work with our Finance and Accounting teams when it comes to month-end activities
• Familiarise themselves with the existing tooling and processes (as a basis of accurate management reporting and billing)
• Support an overall Portfolio Lead with the day-to-day running of a Client Account Portfolio
• Gain a level independence and lead / own Client Accounts and day-to-day engagement with the internal Executive management of the accounts on all commercial aspects of management, helping management maximise business performance
• Contract and Revenue Administration which covers mainly forecasting & budgeting, Profitability review, Account Executive Relationship Management and Reporting/Analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of Financial / Commercial Analysis
• Strong understanding of IT systems for example Peoplesoft / Anaplan
• Experience in a similar environment, preferably Professional Services firms
• Exposure to Contract types for example Time & Material and Fixed Price
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Excel
