Finance Specialist

Summary

Join Common Thread Collective (CTC) as their Finance Specialist and optimize the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, prioritizing cash flow. You will take on various tasks and projects, adding structure and transparency to support all facets of CTC. As a critical member of the Finance Department, you will support the Director of Finance, customers, and growth teams. Regular communication about the status of accounts is crucial. The role involves ensuring timely invoice and bill generation and payment, proactively communicating with customers and departments, and optimizing cash flow through AR and AP. Success includes building customer and vendor relationships, improving payment terms, and accurately updating the Cash Flow Forecast.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, prioritizing cash flow
• Take on various tasks and projects, adding structure and transparency to support all facets of CTC
• Support the Director of Finance, customers, and growth teams
• Communicate regularly about the status of accounts
• Ensure timely generation and payment of invoices and bills
• Proactively communicate with customers and departments
• Optimize cash flow through AR and AP
• Build relationships with all customers and vendors to ensure timely payments
• Improve payment terms where you are able
• Work with the Director of Finance to consistently and accurately update the Cash Flow Forecast
• Track and minimize overdue Accounts Receivable forecast
• Manage Accounts Payable alongside the Director of Finance
• Own all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks

Benefits

• $60,000 - $70,000 base salary, annually
