Finance Specialist

You will work closely with clients, lenders, and internal teams to ensure client success. Requirements

• Experience in financial services required, personal/commercial lending experience a plus!
• Client-focused mindset: A passion for helping others and providing outstanding customer service
• Strong Communication Skills : You’re a great communicator, a critical thinker, and always down to learn something new
• Confidence in working independently but also a team player
• Comfortable using tech platforms (we love Hubspot, and you should too!)
• Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines

Responsibilities

• Discuss & review lending requirements  with the client and what options are available to them
• Find the best lender for the client's needs and develop a game plan that will best help the client to achieve their goals moving forward
• Have a working knowledge of the qualifications needed for each lender and for each program available
• Work collaboratively with Finance Officers, lenders, partners and clients to resolve questions and move files forward
• Following up on clients that are interested but requested to revisit/discuss possible options in the future
• Accurately notate communications on client file in Hubspot, including: Managing data for new and existing clients within database ensuring that all communication with clients are accurately entered
• Communicate with clients via phone calls, emails and chat according to protocols and notate accordingly in the client file
• Support various business and/or department level projects
