Summary
Join our team as a Financial Accounting professional in the Philippines to support our Australian client! Under the Financial Controller's guidance, you'll process financial transactions, reconcile documents, and perform administrative tasks. You'll be involved in monthly reporting, bank reconciliations, managing accounts receivable and payable, and debtor management. Collaboration and process improvement are key aspects of this role. We seek someone with 3-5 years of experience, strong financial accounting skills (with Australian experience), proficiency in accounting software, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years previous experience working in a similar role
- High level of financial accounting and analytical skills, with Australian experience a must
- Proficiency in accounting and project management software (Xero, Monday.com, Abtrac, Tableau) and intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong personality with the confidence and ability to speak out
- Positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Great spoken and written English skills, and interpersonal skills for collaboration within teams
- Ethical, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high professional standards
- Willing to work on AU shift and work on a hybrid set-up
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor financial systems to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
- Assist in preparing monthly reports
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments
- Assist in debtor management
- Collaborate with team members and provide assistance in resolving financial inquiries
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Solid experience working within an Australian business or providing accounting services to Australian companies
