Summary

Requirements

  • Experience leading Manager-level accounting teams in both high-growth and public company environments
  • CPA (or equivalent) required
  • Deep expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal controls
  • A track record of driving accounting transformation, with interest or experience in AI-enabled automation
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across teams
  • Proven ability to lead teams in dynamic, high-growth environments with focus and clarity
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves mindset β€” you're energized by both strategic planning and hands-on execution

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing General Ledger Accounting team, fostering a growth mindset, ownership, and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee the monthly close for the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, and related financial reporting deliverables
  • Set the strategy for automation and process improvements, streamlining GL operations, reducing close timelines, and leveraging scalable, tech-enabled solutions β€” including AI
  • Strengthen internal controls and support SOX compliance, audit readiness, and documentation across all key processes
  • Act as a strategic thought partner across the business, collaborating with FP&A, Tax, Finance Systems, and operational teams to simplify and scale financial processes
