Summary

Join Sagent as the Corporate Director of Financial Analysis and play a key role in shaping the company's financial story. You will lead the FP&A team, manage budget and forecast cycles, and provide strategic insights to the CFO and C-suite. This role involves leading and partnering with divisional CFOs, generating financial reports, conducting in-depth analysis, identifying KPIs, and creating financial models to optimize business performance. You will also provide guidance on investment and project decisions based on comprehensive financial analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance or relevant discipline with 6 - 8 years of experience in a related field within a SaaS or financial technology company
  • Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on achieving goals through effective management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expert Excel knowledge a must

Responsibilities

  • Help the corporation achieve its goals by effectively leading and partnering with divisional CFOs and business leaders throughout the organization
  • Lead the generation and distribution of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
  • Generate forecasts and conduct in-depth analysis of trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business
  • Identify KPIs and leverage business data to drive cost reduction initiatives throughout the organization
  • Analyze the P&L and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for management
  • Research economic progressions to provide critical insights for the organization's financial planning
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of complex financial models that provide actionable intelligence to business leaders to optimize business performance and foster Net Income growth
  • Provide guidance on investment and project decisions based on comprehensive financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in transactional advisory services with one of the Big 4
  • Experience working with Board/C-suite clients
  • Corporate Business Partnership a plus
  • Long range planning/strategic planning
  • Private Equity/transaction experience
