Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or similar discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, FP&A, business strategy, or strategic planning
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to convey drivers of business performance and next steps in written and verbal communications
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance financial reporting to provide key stakeholders with visibility into company performance and expense management
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes, working closely with department leads to ensure accurate financial projections
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, and business drivers
  • Create dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis
  • Partner with business leaders to track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing data-driven recommendations
  • Contribute to cash flow, balance sheet, and long-term financial planning initiatives
  • Support corporate financial deliverables, including business reviews and board presentations
  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end financial close processes, collaborating with Accounting to analyze financial results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer finance, lending, or fintech
  • Previous experience in a PE-backed or venture-backed company
