Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field
• Professional accounting accreditation (CPA-CA, CPA-CGA, CPA-CMA)
• Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Assist with various financial analyses and report them to headquarters
• Maintain a journal and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accurate maintenance (in accordance with IFRS standards) of accounting data
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, and analyze general ledger transactions to ensure the faithful presentation of various accounts
• Prepare monthly and annual variance analyses for the balance sheet and income statements (profit and loss)
• Participate in the preparation of end-of-month and end-of-year financial reports
• Prepare and analyze performance indicators and KPIs for various departments
• Participate in budget preparation
• Provide audit support as requested, including providing relevant documentation
• Participate in the creation and implementation of continuous improvement projects (data entry, reporting, etc.)
• Responsible for ad hoc financial reports
• Any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor
