Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field
- Professional accounting accreditation (CPA-CA, CPA-CGA, CPA-CMA)
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Responsibilities
- Assist with various financial analyses and report them to headquarters
- Maintain a journal and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accurate maintenance (in accordance with IFRS standards) of accounting data
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity, and analyze general ledger transactions to ensure the faithful presentation of various accounts
- Prepare monthly and annual variance analyses for the balance sheet and income statements (profit and loss)
- Participate in the preparation of end-of-month and end-of-year financial reports
- Prepare and analyze performance indicators and KPIs for various departments
- Participate in budget preparation
- Provide audit support as requested, including providing relevant documentation
- Participate in the creation and implementation of continuous improvement projects (data entry, reporting, etc.)
- Responsible for ad hoc financial reports
- Any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor
