Responsibilities
- Analyze and review data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions
- Manage and upload monthly close and R&O submissions
- Compile, track and review monthly reporting requirements to the Corporate Finance team
- Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations
- Participate in the annual budget process including building and maintaining submission templates and working with the local businesses to submit detailed financial projections and review year-over-year variances for reasonableness
- Update and maintain all monthly HFM and Planning reports used to analyze the financial results of the portfolio
- Create and load monthly journal entries and prepare account reconciliations analyzing account activity and balances for appropriateness
- Create, maintain and distribute all electronic financial reports and P&L binders
- Prepare monthly reports to summarize travel expenses and provide insight into key variances by individual and account as well as identify trends that could result in cost overruns or potential expense savings opportunities
- Partner with the Corporate Accounting and the Corporate Planning teams to identify, design and implement potential system changes resulting from new acquisitions or reorganizations
- Work with the Associate Manager of Finance to assist with financial reporting and planning
- Maintain the financial calendars of the group as well as proposing new due dates for subsidiary businesses based on changes to the Corporate calendar and assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial presentations
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with finance team members within the portfolio and as well as throughout the Henry Schein corporate organization
Preferred Qualifications
The posted range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a target bonus not reflected in the posted range
