Responsibilities

  • Design, create and deliver timely and accurate standard periodic reporting and ad-hoc reporting on various operational and financial metrics, providing analysis and interpretation as required
  • Assist with the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly operational and financial reporting packages
  • Analyze current and historical financial results, perform variance analysis of key metrics, identify trends, and recommend actions
  • Support senior leadership team and department leaders with in-depth analysis
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute budget vs. actual results
  • Develop and track key operational and financial performance metrics against the companyโ€™s strategic objectives
  • Assist in the revenue and cost analysis process; provide trends and forecasts; explain variances; and recommend actions
  • Assist in various efforts to improve the efficiency surrounding the data collection and reporting by developing automated processes and applications
  • Participate on special projects and perform other tasks as assigned
  • Cross-trained in duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience as a financial analyst for affordable housing, asset management, financial analysis, or related field is preferred
  • Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or forecasting
  • Knowledge of Yardi and Real Estate industry and terminology is preferred
