Summary
Join Investment Property Group's real estate investment team in Irvine, CA, as a Financial Analyst. Requirements

- Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
Responsibilities
- Design, create and deliver timely and accurate standard periodic reporting and ad-hoc reporting on various operational and financial metrics, providing analysis and interpretation as required
- Assist with the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly operational and financial reporting packages
- Analyze current and historical financial results, perform variance analysis of key metrics, identify trends, and recommend actions
- Support senior leadership team and department leaders with in-depth analysis
- Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute budget vs. actual results
- Develop and track key operational and financial performance metrics against the companyโs strategic objectives
- Assist in the revenue and cost analysis process; provide trends and forecasts; explain variances; and recommend actions
- Assist in various efforts to improve the efficiency surrounding the data collection and reporting by developing automated processes and applications
- Participate on special projects and perform other tasks as assigned
- Cross-trained in duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a financial analyst for affordable housing, asset management, financial analysis, or related field is preferred
- Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or forecasting
- Knowledge of Yardi and Real Estate industry and terminology is preferred
