This maternity cover role involves managing financial controls and reporting for BibliU Limited and BibliU Inc., reporting to the Group CFO. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, accounting operations, compliance and audit, and team leadership. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), and at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in financial management. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Excel, Xero/Quickbooks, Netsuite, Fathom and similar)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in financial management including group consolidations
Responsibilities
- Manage the financial controls and reporting for BibliU Limited and BibliU Inc
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts/financial statements for the two companies and the Group consolidation
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and reporting
- Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts
- Identify financial trends and provide strategic insights
- Prepare month-end accounts and VAT returns
- Ensure accurate bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
- Implement and maintain robust financial systems and controls
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards
- Coordinate and manage external audit processes
- Develop and implement internal financial policies
- Maintain high standards of financial record-keeping
- Manage and mentor the UK based finance team
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Provide guidance and support to team members
- Coordinate cross-departmental financial activities
Preferred Qualifications

- Proven track record in financial reporting and accounting
