Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or ACCA preferred)
- 3β5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial control, preferably in a U.S. corporation with high transaction volume
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX compliance)
- Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, ERPs) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, balance sheet, and fixed assets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP with the support of external accountants
- Manage and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and reduce risk
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with external accountants and tax advisors
- Prepare variance analysis, support with forecasts, and budget-to-actual reports
- Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets and financial KPIs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to provide financial insights for strategic decisions
- Utilise in-house systems and financial software to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy
