Financial Controller for eCommerce

Join our growing eCommerce business as an experienced Financial Controller! This senior-level role requires 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting/finance position, specifically within the eCommerce or CPG space, ideally with high-volume Amazon sellers. You will lead all accounting functions, analyze financial data across multiple channels, manage inventory costing, ensure tax compliance, and collaborate with various teams to optimize financial processes. The position demands expertise with NetSuite ERP and a deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central. Requirements

• 5+ years in a Financial Controller or similar accounting/finance role
• Proven experience in eCommerce, preferably with high-volume Amazon sales or CPG
• Expert-level proficiency with NetSuite ERP
• Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central workflows, including chargebacks, payment flows, and reconciliation
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all accounting functions including forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close
• Analyze sales performance and financial data across Amazon Seller Central and other sales channels
• Manage inventory costing and perform regular reconciliations
• Ensure full tax compliance, including sales tax, nexus tracking, and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and leadership to optimize financial processes
• Identify and resolve chargebacks, reconciliation issues, and accounting discrepancies
• Provide insights to support strategic decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, or other DTC/marketplace platforms
• Prior experience managing remote teams or working in a fully distributed environment
