Fixed Asset Manager

Summary

The job description is for a Fixed Asset Manager position at Axon, where the employee will manage global fixed asset processes, collaborate with senior finance leaders, and implement process and technology transformation. The role requires a BS or equivalent in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of relevant experience, CPA preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Lease accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting process in close collaboration with business partners
• Analyze investments to determine proper accounting treatment in accordance with capitalization policy as well as ASC 842
• Apply internal policies to investment requests and support continued updates to policies to support business growth and expansion
• Prepare and record journal entries in GL systems, monthly account fluctuation analysis and reconciliations supporting our SEC footnote preparation
• Identify, present and implement solutions for process improvements, automation opportunities and enhanced area reporting capabilities
• Manage data integrity and preparation of financial information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and accessibility
• Coordinate the preparation of audit responses and work of auditors
• Foster communication and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries
• Monitor and execute internal control procedures to ensure that company assets are adequately protected
• Support budgeting process and actual to forecast variance analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA preferred
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and Lease accounting software
