Summary

The job is for an Accountant position with a Singapore-based client, working for MySigrid, a Premium Executive and Personal Assistance Service. The role involves handling accounts, managing day-to-day accounts, preparing monthly settlements/reconciliation, performing bank reconciliation, collection, and credit control, preparing journal entries, closing activities, maintaining fixed asset register, uploading payments, and other ad-hoc duties. The Accountant should have relevant qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field of studies
• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of Accounts for a group of companies
• Manage day-to-day accounts; update daily bank transactions in the accounting system
• Prepare monthly inter-company settlement/reconciliation
• Handle petty cash and update daily transactions in the cashbook
• Perform bank reconciliation, collection, and credit control
• Prepare GL transaction & journal entries
• Perform Month-end closing activities
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Upload payments in the banking portal
• Perform other ad-hoc duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in Singaporean Accounting and tax compliance standards
• High proficiency in MS Applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge in ERP Software (knowledge in Tally is an advantage)
• Preferably with 3 years of relevant working experience
