Founding Product Designer

Summary

Seal is hiring a Product Designer to lead the design of its P2P prediction protocol. The role requires understanding user pain points, spearheading usability testing, defining the product vision, creating fluid user-flows, assisting on high-performance web pages, and maintaining and extending design systems. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of product-based UI/UX design experience, a good understanding of formal elements of design, and proven ability to collaborate with other disciplines.

Requirements

• Based in the US
• +3 yrs of product-based UI/UX design primarily focused on a consumer audience
• Portfolio of design work demonstrating skill in user research, prototyping/testing, visual design, and design systems
• A good understanding of the formal elements of design, not just limited to the web and including typography, layout, balance, and proportion

Responsibilities

• Understand and articulate the user: know their pain points inside and out
• Spearhead usability testing to validate your thinking
• Ship quickly across all projects, not just design
• Define the product vision: set, test, and iterate on UI designs
• Create fluid user-flows, thoughtful wireframes, effortless prototypes, & stunning UI
• Assist on high-performance web pages
• Solicit feedback early and often, from within the company and out
• Maintain and extend our design systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading and mentoring others
• Experience in JS, HTML, CSS
• Animation experience
• Experience with A/B testing
