Summary
Join Praetorian as their FP&A Manager, a key role bridging finance and business operations. You will partner with business unit leaders, aligning financial models and KPIs with business goals. This position requires developing financial models, improving financial processes, and creating compelling data presentations. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably with experience in professional services, Saas, or technology
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- High level of intellectual curiosity, strong sense of ownership and passion for delivery
- Advanced analytic, modeling, forecasting and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management
- Results driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think tactically and strategically
- Passion for using data to drive better decision-making
- Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences
- Working knowledge of accounting principles
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to align financial planning with business objectives. Lead development and tracking of relevant business KPIs
- Develop robust financial models to assist in strategic decision making
- Drive initiatives to improve, automate, and/or simplify financial processes
- Partner with the Accounting team as needed for monthly financial close. Own monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
- Improve the financial planning process, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term models
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau) is a plus
- Extremely detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and correctness
- Superior quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business judgment
- Ability to self-direct work and truly own the position in a hyper-growth environment
- Superior communication skills as this position interfaces with key business stakeholders
