Fraud Product Manager

Summary

The job is for an experienced Product Manager to lead Blockchain's Anti-Fraud team, focusing on building industry-leading risk and anti-fraud functions. The role requires collaboration with experts, creating a product roadmap, implementing fraud detection systems, analyzing impact of features, collaborating with teams, working with external vendors, and conducting root cause analysis of fraud incidents.

Requirements

• You are driven, curious and proactive
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management roles
• Experience working in payments, fraud prevention, risk management, or a related field within financial services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working on cross functional teams and managing timelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail and design oriented and always thinking of the end-user experience
• A proven track record of shipping products in a technical environment and working with developers on a day-to-day basis

Responsibilities

• Build an industry-leading risk and anti-fraud function
• Create and execute a product roadmap
• Implement and maintain systems that detect and prevent fraudulent activities
• Consistently assess and analyze the impact of existing and new features on key KPIs and user engagement
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, operations, compliance and other teams to design and implement fraud detection and prevention tools
• Work with external vendors on opportunities and solutions to protect against fraud
• Conduct root cause analysis of fraud incidents and develop corrective action plans
• Partner with the Risk Operations team to design new automation/tooling that enhances their effectiveness
• Manage timelines and follow multiple product roadmaps to organize timely feature releases and minimize release delays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with risk and fraud teams applying data science to solve fraud problems
• Payment rail knowledge (cards, ACH, Apple Pay, SEPA, Faster Payments, etc.)
• Knowledge of, or experience in, the digital currency or FinTech ecosystem
