Summary

The job is for a Freelance Presentation Designer to support the Murphy Research team in creating presentation decks, proposals, and marketing materials. The position requires strong design skills, versatility, proficiency in design tools, excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Remote work is possible with a preference for Los Angeles-based talent.

Requirements

• Strong design portfolio with examples of client-ready presentations, reports, creative data visualizations, and infographics
• Diverse artistic range with the ability to shift from one brand aesthetic to another fluidly
• Confidence in working with Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong typography, layout, and type/image integration skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Ability to work teamwork, but thrive when performing work on multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Enjoy working consultatively and delivering high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Research Teams to design and develop presentation decks and proposals
• Serve as a brand ambassador for Murphy Research, ensuring brand guidelines are followed in all deliverables
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders on a project-by-project basis
• Support the creative conceptualization and implementation of social media blogs, newsletters, and other marketing collateral

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in motion graphics, video editing, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and/or familiarity with Lightroom, After Effects, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, or Maya
