Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a self-motivated Software Engineer to develop and support multiple applications in the travel, loyalty, and activities sectors. You will build full solutions for our platform, integrating with various systems and tools like Java, Spring, Ember JS, and HTML/CSS. This role requires creating sustainable and scalable applications, working in a lean/agile environment with remote teams. We seek someone curious about technology and exploring new software development methods. The position involves partnering with stakeholders to enhance existing applications and collaborating with team members to build new functionalities for the travel industry. You will be responsible for all phases of the software development process, from prototyping to delivery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in developing scalable JS/SPA applications (e.g., React, Angular, Ember or similar SPA frameworks)
• Ability to work independently or within a team with substantial latitude for decision making

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to enhance and support existing applications
• Work with team members to build new functionality for the travel industry
• Write and maintain sustainable and efficient code that can be used in scalable architectures
• Build prototypes quickly and turn those ideas into sustainable, scalable applications
• Take ownership of the design and delivery and participate in all phases of the software development process
• Work in a lean/agile development environment with remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java/Spring/J2EE is a plus
• Experience with AWS
