Summary

Join Localyze's dynamic team as a Frontend Engineer and contribute to the development of our SaaS B2B product. You will design and implement scalable, reusable frontend components, collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers. This role requires mastery of TypeScript, React, Next.js, and React Query, along with experience in developing and maintaining design systems. Ideally, you will have 4+ years of software engineering experience and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • Ideally, 4+ years in software engineering
  • Mastery of TypeScript, and modern frameworks like React, Next.js, and React Query
  • Experience in developing and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency and high-quality standards across the company’s products
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to succeed in our remote, partly asynchronous work environment

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, reusable components that enhance both the user and developer experience
  • Lead by example in encouraging and implementing frontend best practices across the team
  • Autonomously improve the maintainability and security of the application, refine software design, reduce technical debt, and ensure dependencies are kept up to date
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to innovate and ensure the timely completion of tasks
  • Engage with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and customer success, to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the product development process

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, experience with Ruby on Rails or similar backend technologies is a real plus!
