Senior Front End Software Engineer (React)

Requirements

• Knowledge of Agile values and principles
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Strong understanding of prototypical inheritance and object creation
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Strong understanding of React state and ways to handle its asynchronous
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

Responsibilities

• Work in a multidisciplinary agile team to build and maintain features
• Write code with proper testing and review code of fellow teammates
• Triage and fix bugs
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Use modern technologies and the latest web standards that scale to serve millions of users and perform well on all kinds of devices and platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, SCSS HTML, and front-end languages
• 1+ years’ experience with Typescript
• 4+ years of experience working with React or another major JavaScript Library
• Modular/Pluggable architecture
• REST API architecture
• Modern IDE’s like VSCode, Atom, or Sublime
