Summary

Join BOI, a company specializing in AI strategy and applied AI, as a Lead Full-Stack Engineer with AI Experience. You will lead the development of cutting-edge AI-powered tools and applications, including agentic tools that adapt to user needs autonomously. This role involves building scalable, secure, and user-centric products by integrating front-end interfaces with robust back-end systems powered by foundational AI models. You will work in a project-based environment, collaborating with a team of experts to build and implement systems from the ground up, writing production-level code and defining processes for future team growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software engineering with at least 3 years working on full-stack development
  • Proven experience working in a consulting or agency environment on project-based work
  • Advanced proficiency in programs that could include JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Python
  • Expertise in programs that could include RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or database management systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis
  • Familiarity with integrating and optimizing AI APIs like OpenAI, Hugging Face, or Anthropic
  • Advanced English skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international team

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic front-end user interfaces using modern frameworks like React or Vue.js
  • Implement and optimize secure, scalable back-end systems using frameworks like Node.js, FastAPI, or Flask
  • Integrate foundational model APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Hugging Face) into workflows, ensuring seamless functionality and performance
  • Build tools with agentic capabilities to automate workflows
  • Develop APIs and endpoints for internal use and client-facing applications
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure applications meet high standards of usability and performance
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to integrate data pipelines, databases, and harmonized datasets into applications
  • Continuously improve code quality by implementing CI/CD pipelines, performing code reviews, and following best practices for testing and debugging
