Full Stack Engineer

Summary

The job is for a software engineer role in Building Swell, a venture-backed construction technology company. The employee will drive engineering decisions, design solutions to complex problems, and work remotely within PST to EST time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years developing software in a web production environment
• Able to balance speed, maintainability, and testing
• Excellent collaboration skills in working with multi-disciplinary, remote agile teams
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases
• Experience taking complex problems and driving the development lifecycle
• Focus on clean/simple user experiences that our customers love

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and launch new features from inception to delivery
• Work directly with customers/products to design solutions to complex problems
• Touch every part of the development ecosystem: frontend, backend, DevOps, etc

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus points: experience with Typescript/Javascript, React, NodeJS/Express, Postgresql, AWS, and strong writing skills
