Summary

Join Casebook PBC as a Full Stack Engineer (Level II) and contribute to building and delivering expertise in enterprise cloud-native software development. This remote US-based role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, high-quality solutions for human services. You will lead technical design, integration, and testing, while enhancing software architecture and translating business objectives into technical requirements. The position requires strong full-stack web development experience, proficiency in various technologies, and a background in Agile methodologies. Requirements

  • Strong experience in full-stack web development (Java, GraphQL, React required)
  • Experience building microservices architectures
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs using OpenAPI standards
  • Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis, S3, Redshift, Apache Kafka, Lambda, and EMR
  • Previous leadership experience in major IT application implementations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify roadblocks
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Git and version control systems
  • Experience with IT security best practices
  • Background in software testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design, integration, implementation, and testing of enterprise SaaS human services systems
  • Develop and enhance software architecture, including persistence and structural design patterns
  • Translate business objectives into technical requirements and solutions
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot API integrations within a complex ecosystem
  • Contribute to the development of Casebook platform functionality using state-of-the-art frameworks
  • Maintain high security, extensibility, reusability, and testing standards in system architecture
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and apply them effectively
  • Build solutions that make a real difference for vulnerable populations
