Full Stack Engineer Intern

Summary

Matroid is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work onsite at their downtown Palo Alto office. The intern will develop features for Matroid's computer vision platform, learn from experienced team members, and receive competitive pay and benefits such as gym membership reimbursement, free lunch, healthy drinks, snacks, and a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Working towards a degree in CS or equivalent
• Significant experience working with web applications on either via previous work experience or personal projects
• Passion for and attention to detail when working on user-facing features
• Expertise with JavaScript / TypeScript and React
• Willingness and eligibility for security clearance up to TS/SCI

Responsibilities

• Developing a significant feature or features for Matroid’s computer vision platform
• Measuring and evaluating technology and design tradeoffs and alternatives
• Iteratively scoping, designing, and building your project while getting feedback and mentorship from experienced team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with: Redux, Node.js, Express.js
• Have built browser based features on top of machine learning technologies
• Have experience with: video or graphics in the browser
