Full-stack Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Full-Stack Developer in alternance to join the AREA 17 team in Paris. The role involves developing, maintaining, and improving websites using PHP with Laravel. The candidate should have knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, experience with Vue/Nuxt, React/Next, WebGL, Node, Webpack, SCSS, understanding of deployment workflows and CI/CD strategies, good written and oral communication skills in French and English, team spirit, and a desire to learn and explain technical concepts.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Development of responsive applications
• Attention to performance and SEO
• Familiarity with server-side creation model templates (Blade, Twig...)

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance (approach modular / design systems)
• Prototyping for testing concepts and interactions
• Development and backend integration of applications (PHP, Laravel, Twill, NodeJS) with close attention to performance, extensibility and security
• Quality assurance, cross-browser testing, and optimization
• Extend application features by building interfaces to 3rd party services (API, JSON)
• Participation in defining technical specifications and documentation in collaboration with the technical director
• Participation in technology watch, research, and experimentation for client and internal projects
• Collaboration with the entire development team for improving internal processes and knowledge sharing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue / Nuxt, React / Next, WebGL, Node, Webpack and/or SCSS
• Experience in executing tasks via NPM and Yarn
• Experience with code management in Git
• Understanding of deployment workflows and CI/CD strategies
• Ability to follow, respect, and contribute to internal agency processes
• Strong curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and appreciate their maturity and relevance
• Good written and oral communication skills in French and English
• Desire to explain technical concepts to experts or non-experts, colleagues or clients
