Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join MetaMask as a Fullstack Engineer and contribute to the development of innovative swap experiences within the blockchain and Web3 space. You will work across multiple platforms, including the Portfolio Dapp, browser extension, and mobile app, to unify, enhance, and transform the swaps and bridging experience. This role requires extensive experience with web and mobile technologies, modern Javascript, and blockchain fundamentals. You will collaborate within an agile team to develop medium to large-scale applications while adhering to coding standards and security best practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and improvement. Requirements

• 4+ years working with web and mobile-based technologies
• Hands-on experience with at least one: React, React Native, Vue, or Angular
• Extensive experience with modern Javascript (ES6/TypeScript/etc.)
• Experience with blockchain fundamentals
• Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatibility
• Experience working in an agile development team
• Experience developing medium to large-scale applications across the entire stack with minimal tech debt through sensible abstractions, testing, linting, and adherence to coding/web standards
• Experience consuming APIs
• A demonstrable understanding of Continuous Integration
• Strong understanding of web-based security threats and prevention techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Teamwork, flexibility, initiative, communication and organization
• Willingness to constantly learn & improve, challenging yourself to stay at the top of your game

Responsibilities

• Contribute to MetaMask’s Swap experiences
• Help unify, enhance and transform our Swaps and Bridging experience across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the ERC20 and SPL20 token standards
• Demonstrated passion for and knowledge of blockchain technologies
• An understanding of cyber-cryptography
• Experience working in a decentralized, distributed team
