General Manager

Summary

The job is for a General Manager position at ElevenLabs, a fast-growing AI voice technology company. The GM will be responsible for executing the overall Japan strategy, managing sales pipeline, client relationships, brand positioning, team building, and performance management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the professional services; functional experience in management, strategy, or business development
• Experience leading and scaling a high-growth start-up, preferably in a leadership position with direct reports and responsibility over P&L
• Proven track record working with international HQ

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy aimed at achieving company targets for the market
• Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities and assess competitive landscape
• Develop strategies to generate and convert high-quality leads
• Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities and conversion rates
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive repeat business and referrals
• Ensure the brand is well-positioned in the market to attract and retain clients
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales and business development team
• Implement performance metrics and regular reviews to ensure the team meets or exceeds targets
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise-grade business development and sales and delivering sales KPIs
• Experience as a country manager or in market entry and growth strategy formation
• Experience working closely with media & entertainment industry
