Summary

Join a dynamic team as the Global Account Lead at DEPT, where you'll manage and nurture key global client relationships, deliver strategic marketing solutions, and oversee campaign execution across multiple regions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in account management or client services within a marketing or advertising agency, with a focus on global or multi-regional accounts
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing campaigns across diverse markets
  • The architect - bringing every pieces together
  • Has industry expertise - understands competitive context (vendor, audience, cross market pollination
  • Strong understanding of global marketing, branding, and digital strategies
  • You have a passion for digital marketing, know how to convince others with your sales talent, and have the ability to give clients the best possible advice
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate client goals into actionable marketing plans
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Financial acumen with experience managing account budgets and profitability
  • Familiarity with a variety of marketing disciplines, including digital, social media, creative, and media planning

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key global clients, fostering long-term partnerships
  • Full understanding of DEPT's offering - knowing how our capabilities solve client problems in other domains and has the ability to coach (mentorship)
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Provide ongoing strategic counsel to clients, identifying new opportunities and areas for growth
  • Lead annual planning and strategy sessions with clients, ensuring alignment with their business and marketing objectives
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell of agency services to drive account growth
  • Manage the account P&L, ensuring revenue targets and profitability goals are met
  • Monitor project budgets, scope, and timelines, ensuring all work is delivered within agreed-upon parameters
  • Negotiate contracts, retainers, and fees with clients to ensure profitable engagements
