Requirements

  • CPA certification required
  • Advanced experience with NetSuite, including international and multi-entity environments
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on the software industry
  • Proven technical accounting skills with in-depth knowledge of GAAP
  • Demonstrated ability to manage international operations and ensure compliance across jurisdictions, including experience with international rules and regulations, preferably in Portugal, Spain, and Latin America
  • Experience managing annual audits with top-tier firms
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 15+ employees
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Background in FP&A or demonstrated ability to work closely with FP&A teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • Ability to travel as needed for the position both domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced knowledge of NetSuite to manage multiple entities and sets of books across global operations
  • Ensure systems are optimized for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Analyze GAAP compliance, evaluate new and existing pronouncements, and develop company position statements
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across all entities
  • Support budgeting and forecasting process, tracking and analyzing financial performance against targets
  • Assist CFO in managing cash flow, working capital, and financial forecasts, providing key insights to leadership
  • Manage tax filings, reporting, and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Own and manage accounting functions across European and Latin American regions
  • Oversee the consolidation of global financials, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
  • Lead and manage annual audits with β€œBig 6” firms, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Prepare for audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audit
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of 15+ finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvement within the accounting function
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to develop and deliver monthly executive, investor, and board reporting, including KPIs
  • Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning
  • Navigate a high-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and evolving projects effectively
  • Drive initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and overall financial performance
