As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing world-class events that attract and engage our target audience, generate leads, and support our enterprise sales motion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certifications in marketing, sales enablement, or digital marketing are a plus
  • 10+ years of experience majorly in planning and executing large-scale events, preferably in the technology or B2B industry
  • Experience managing event teams and budgets
  • Strong understanding of event technology platforms and tools
  • Ability to develop and execute effective event marketing strategies
  • Experience working with partners and sponsors to enhance event impact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Data-driven approach to event planning and measurement

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global events strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Create a board-ready annual event calendar that outlines key events and their strategic goals
  • Conceptualize and design innovative and engaging event formats, including conferences, webinars, workshops, and user groups
  • Manage event budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content and experiences
  • Source and manage external vendors and suppliers for events
  • Deliver exceptional participant experiences that exceed expectations
  • Foster a sense of community and networking opportunities among attendees
  • Measure event satisfaction and gather feedback to improve future events
  • Develop lead generation strategies for events, including pre-event marketing and on-site lead capture
  • Align events with sales initiatives to support enterprise sales efforts
  • Measure the impact of events on lead generation, pipeline development, and revenue
  • Lead and manage a team of event professionals, providing guidance and support
  • Hire, train, and develop top talent to build a high-performing events team
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Research and select appropriate event technology platforms to support the execution of hybrid events
  • Implement and manage event technology tools, such as virtual event platforms, registration systems, and lead capture tools
  • Integrate event technology with other systems, such as CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Utilize event technology to enhance participant engagement, networking opportunities, and data collection
  • Measure the effectiveness of event technology tools and optimize their use
  • Identify and engage strategic technology partners to support events and generate sponsorship income
  • Develop partnership agreements that align with event goals and objectives
  • Integrate technology partners into event activities, such as product demonstrations or workshops
  • Measure partner impact and optimize partner relationships
