Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing multi-country Global Payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll tax principles, social security contributions, and wage laws across multiple countries
  • Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to read, and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles supporting high-touch Enterprise accounts, with a track record of handling escalations and inquiries with exceptional customer service
  • Ability to analyze payslips, detect discrepancies, reconcile payroll data, and research complex issues using various research tools
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adjust swiftly to changing priorities across different jurisdictions
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English; additional European languages are a plus. Proficient in using support tools (E.g. Zendesk) and Google Sheets
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working alongside cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth, compliant payroll operations
  • Excellent research, organizational, and process documentation skills with an ability to optimize workflows and implement process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of support for complex multi-country global payroll inquiries
  • Offer expert advice on navigating differences in payroll practices and tax considerations across various countries
  • Work with internal teams to resolve complex payroll issues, ensuring clear communication of status and resolutions to clients
  • Collaborate closely with CSMs to deliver proactive updates and best-practice guidance, ensuring a unified, high-quality client experience
  • Proactively update your assigned client group and contribute to creating or enhancing training resources that reduce escalations and improve team knowledge
