Join FiscalNote's People team as a detail-oriented Coordinator supporting our growing workforce. You will play a key role in managing employee lifecycle processes, maintaining HRIS systems, and providing exceptional service. This position requires strong process management skills, attention to detail, and discretion when handling sensitive data. You will manage employee inquiries, support immigration processes, and collaborate with the People Partner team. The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of HR or operations experience, HRIS data management skills (BambooHR preferred), and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices. Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or Operations
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS data management (BambooHR experience preferred)
- Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices
- Basic knowledge of State and Federal employment laws, global knowledge is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Relentless desire to learn, grow, and succeed
- Ability to exercise discretion in communications and decision-making
- Proficient in using Google suite (Gmail, docs, calendar), Slack, and MacOs
Responsibilities
- Assist in all administrative and operations aspects of human resources
- Own and execute end to end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal movements and offboarding
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee personnel records outside our HRIS
- Maintain data integrity in FiscalNoteโs HRIS (BambooHR) through regular audits, updates and access management
- Manage employee inquiries through our online ticketing system, including general People questions, and employment verifications
- Support immigration processes, compliance audits, and ad hoc initiatives through careful data collection and management
- Collaborate with the People Partner team on administrative support, reporting, and special projects
- Document and optimize People team procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Research best practices and current trends for the team, as needed
- Additional related responsibilities as needed
