Graphic Designer

Summary

Join Arlo Solutions, an IT consulting firm, as a Marketing Graphic Designer! This remote position (with potential travel to Washington, DC) requires designing high-quality marketing materials for government contracts. You will collaborate with various teams, ensuring designs align with branding and federal requirements. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in graphic design, particularly in government contracting, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on marketing and proposal design, preferably in the government contracting industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout
• Familiarity with tools for collaboration (e.g., Miro, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) and project management platforms

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality graphics for marketing materials, demonstrating mastery in at least four of the following: proposal graphics, PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, brochures, digital content, videos (both long and short form), web pages, and/or large-scale ad designs (i.e. column wrapping, billboard, banners, etc)
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Business Development, Proposal Managers, and the Communications team, to create designs that reflect Arlo’s brand, business strategy, and client requirements
• Develop and maintain templates for consistent branding across marketing materials
• Ensure that all designs are created in accordance with branding guidelines, corporate identity standards, and accessibility regulations
• Prepare designs for print and digital formats, ensuring accuracy and quality in the final output
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
• Assist with graphic design needs for company events, trade shows, and internal communications
• Maintain a portfolio of design work to present to clients and internal stakeholders as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Knowledge of government proposal and contracting regulations as they relate to branding and design is a plus
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for web design
