Requirements

• Prior experience in a desktop publishing role, particularly within a corporate setting
• Willingness to adapt to client-specific tools and processes, with a proactive approach to learning and development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong creative and conceptual skills with an eye for detail and design aesthetics
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and a strong understanding of Adobe design software
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in desktop publishing

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality presentations and documents within PowerPoint, ensuring all designs meet client requirements and brand standards
• Generate creative ideas to translate client concepts into visual designs that effectively communicate the desired message
• Utilise Adobe software to enhance visual elements used in PowerPoint presentations
• Ensure all designs are visually appealing and on-brand, with a strong attention to detail and aesthetic coherence
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their design needs and provide updates on project progress
• Engage in training sessions provided by the client to refine skills and align with specific project requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training or qualifications in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is preferred
• Highly creative with the ability to convert ideas into practical designs
• Strong organisational skills with the capability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong portfolio is required upon application to demonstrate design proficiency
