Summary

The job is for a Group Product Manager in Reddit's Developer Platform team. The role involves creating vision, building roadmaps, driving execution, and delivering on outcomes while collaborating with engineering and product leaders. The candidate should have 6+ years of product management experience, strong product sense, and experience launching monetization products.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience
• Extremely strong product sense, execution, and communication skills
• Experience taking a software product from concept to launch
• Experience launching one or more monetization products (e.g. ads, payments)
• Experience working with APIs, either launching API products or deep experience building with them
• Experience with user experience design and deep understanding and incorporating user empathy into products
• BS in Engineering or other relevant field

Responsibilities

• Create the vision, building roadmaps, driving execution and delivering on outcomes
• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to set a long-term strategy
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects
• Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
• Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience defining and executing strategy for developer-facing products
• Experience interfacing with developers and developer communities
• Experience managing a team of direct reports
• Hands-on software engineering experience for personal projects or prior work experience
• Experience launching gaming products
