Summary
Join Ro, a leading direct-to-patient healthcare company, as a Group Product Manager for Patient Identity & Privacy. You will spearhead the development and roadmap of identity, consent, and first-party data governance capabilities. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to build secure, scalable systems protecting patient data and enabling Ro's growth. You will apply security and privacy best practices to Ro's core services. The ideal candidate is a data-fluent self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills, experienced in navigating complex organizational and technical environments. This is a senior individual contributor role offering a competitive salary and benefits package, with flexibility to work remotely anywhere in the US.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product experience and 7-9 years of professional experience focused on first party data, privacy, and/or identity at a D2C focused company
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols, consent frameworks, and privacy-focused data governance
- Demonstrated experience driving outcomes by identifying data-driven opportunities and executing
- Successful track record of shipping complex platform features for cross-functional partners and making data-informed decisions
- Excellent product judgment: Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance stakeholder needs with business priorities, and drive detailed trade-offs over the product lifecycle
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills: Ability to establish common ground with empathy and candor, manage conflicting points of view, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
- Experience navigating organizational & technical complexity (e.g., supporting products on multiple stacks, participating in tech integrations)
- Experience in working with legal and security to develop features that enhance user privacy and data protection
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary platform product manager for privacy-focused areas across Ro, including first party data, user registration, authentication, identity management and consent management
- Develop and enhance authentication protocols, ensuring secure and seamless patient access to Roβs platform
- Evolve consent management frameworks, giving patients transparency and control over how their data is used while supporting Roβs business needs
- Lead Growth & Marketing teams in leveraging first-party data responsibly for personalization and digital advertising, ensuring Roβs marketing stack is built with privacy-first principles
- Partner with Engineering, Legal, and Security to define policies and implement solutions that comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations

- The target base salary for this position ranges from $201,000 to $240,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable)

- For our Roβers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites)
