Join BH Properties as the Head of Accounting Operations, a remote position based in the US Pacific Time zone. Reporting to the Senior Controller, you will oversee a remote accounting team, review their work, conduct training, and prepare reports. Requirements

• CPA required
• Latin honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude) required
• At least 10 years of audit experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms
• Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• An ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization and externally with tenants, vendors and other outside parties
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess strong work ethic
• Must be a team player

Responsibilities

• Oversee the remote accounting team
• Monitor and review the work product of the remote accounting team
• Conduct training of staff based on need and as assigned
• Prepare ad hoc and periodic reports as assigned
• Complete other projects and tasks assigned by management
